Both the art and the science of bodywork fascinate me.  The human body fascinates me.  Bringing the two together for your benefit is a joy!  I've been enjoying this work for over 15 years and it's definitely what I want to be when I grow up:)  Having had a college degree in communications and business, high stress occupations in sales marketing and management, a complete change of pace in being a stay at home mom which was rewarding yet not without it's stresses, I'm quite content to be a professional body worker and I look forward to being your therapist! 

My massage school "A New Beginning School of Massage" was certainly a new time for me to to give back the joy I've received overthe years. massages I've received over the years, and now you benefit!  Located in North Central Austin, my private practice is minutes from the Domain shopping center, IBM, Apple, and National Instruments.  Finding me and parking is a breeze. The outside beach decor carries into the massage suite for your seaside session.  You begin relaxing before even getting on the table.

My company name is Gift of Serenity Massage because I believe serenity is a gift, not something for which you can strive.  My part is to create a place for you to receive...not just serenity, but pain relief.  Whether it's Relaxation, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Fascia Softening and Lengthening, or Chair Massage, your session is customized for your needs and you leave relaxed, refreshed, happier, and in less pain than when you came in.  That said, there are times when your request for Deep Tissue work result in less pain over a few days - as the body takes it's time to resolve.  A big plus is you receive 60/90 minutes "on the table".  Another plus is the bodyCushion system (refer to website for more information).  The best plus is you receive my full attention.  Finally, you receive my full intention.  It is the intention that creates a place for receptivity.

When not working, I enjoy walking my Assistant "Jenny", a docile and laid back Golden Retriever rescue.  She is a favorite of all my clients. If you're not a dog person, she's happy to stay in her bedroom during your session.  I also enjoy music, reading, meditating, camping, working out, studying the Bible and spending time with friends.
