In addition to a background in family counseling, and teaching at Austin Community College, I have fourteen years of massage experience, with a thirteen year focus on the older client and hospice care patients.

Currently a student of Oriental Medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine Austin (AOMA) Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, I am studying acupuncture, herbs, Asian bodywork methods, acupressure, medical Qigong, and more. Part of my studies were at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sichuan Province, China, 2013. I am currently practicing in the AOMA supervised student clinics.

I have combined my massage studies, Oriental Medicine, bodywork techniques, knowledge of body energetics, acupressure, Reiki, Reflexology, and life experiences, to uniquely serve the aging community of Austin with a blend of healing methods brought to their home.
