My journey into bodywork started during my master's program as I studied traditional Chinese soft tissue manipulation (tuina) and medical theory. After going on to obtain my license in massage therapy, I realized mental health applications of bodywork were my long term learning frontier. With my clients, I combine my knowledge in ancient healing arts with interests in nervous system disorders and the effects of trauma on the body. My goal is to help my clients break the cycle of living in a "fight or flight state" and become better grounded in their own bodies, empowered by healing touch to bring themselves into stillness. I serve a wide variety of individuals, especially those affected by chronic pain, autoimmune/neurological conditions, insomnia, anxiety and depression, and stress.  As a former teacher, I also offer pediatric services.
