Kara's curiosity for restoring the body as a whole began shortly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida in 2003. She started practicing alignment-based yoga recreationally and it then became very clear that there was a strong holistic interrelationship between body and mind. Her passion for helping others grew while working as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in outpatient orthopedics in 2010. She completed her certification as a Kinesio Tape Practitioner® within her first year out of school to provide athletes with the strength and confidence to return to sports. Her interest for empowering other to heal themselves, inspired her to complete her yoga certification through the integrative yoga therapy teacher training at Sundara Yoga Therapy in July 2014. In a lifetime pursuit to learning and mind-body rehabilitation, Kara graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist from Lauterstein-Conway massage school in 2015. In addition to massage therapy, Kara also works with the geriatric population, providing home health physical therapy to those who are not capable of seeking therapeutic reclamation outside of their homes.
