I went to UT and graduated with a BS in Biology and a certification in teaching high school science. I bounced off to travel the world near and far and I never looked back. I went to UT and graduated with a BS in Biology and a certification in teaching high school science. I bounced off to travel the world near and far and I never looked back. I began practicing bodywork for fun with friends, and I kept getting the feedback that I had the "magic touch" that it encouraged me to commit to massage school.
It took a few years before my traveling bug wore off to get there, but once I finally began school at A New Beginning here in Austin I never looked back! I have been practicing bodywork professionally for 4 years now and I absolutely love it. I believe that every person deserves to feel GREAT in their bodies & massage therapy can get us closer to that state on a regular basis. I have a sports, science, as well as mindfulness background, which all bleed into massage therapy perfectly. I like to maintain a beginner's mind by always wanting to learn more and improve my skills. I'm never afraid to hear feedback, I consider it a valuable learning experience.
