I became interested in massage after the great dotcom bust in 2001. I had been laid off from my dotcom job and decided to go into a career where people would always be happy to see me. I had no idea how life-changing becoming a massage therapist would be, but it does permeate all areas of my life.

I have training in several modalities, but have found deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to be the most useful in my practice. I especially like to work on shoulder, neck, piriformis and iliopsoas issues.

When not massaging Austinites or attending school (pre-nursing), I can be found hanging out with my children (3, 12, 16, and 22 years old).

This was the first time I have had deep tissue massage and it was extremely positive experience. Brandy listened to what I was experiencing, explained what she was doing and gave me helpful pointers for things I can do. Two days after treatment and I can definitely say it made a difference.

Brandy did a great job - trigger points therapy is exactly what I was looking for. Although many places call or include this type of treatment in their description or advertising, the ones that I tried so far just did regular massage for the most part. Even if it was deep tissue, it wasn't really addressing the trigger points problem. This one did and I will definitely come back.
