I am licensed through the Texas Department of State Health Services, passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam, and am a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. I originally graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy’s 1,000 hour program, one of the most in-depth massage therapy programs in the country. Always trying to grow my knowledge, I have extensive training in several styles including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Techniques, Lomi Lomi, Sports Massage, and stretching techniques.

If you are a new client, I begin by finding out your current needs as well as your long-term goals, and together we will determine the best plan for your sessions. Once we start working together on a continuous basis, we will start each session by assessing your health since our last visit, discussing this session’s goals, and fine-tuning the long-term plan if necessary. Keeping your unique goals in mind, I blend relaxation and target muscle treatment into every massage session to help you let go of all thoughts and stresses, thus allowing the muscles to unwind and the body space to heal.

Originally from the east coast, I spent my childhood growing up in New York and Northern Virginia. I moved to Boston for college, graduating from Emerson College with a B.A. in Communications. My traveling spirit has led me to spend time in Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, Hilton Head Island, and even Costa Rica and Nicaragua before growing roots in Austin. Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, I worked as an Event Planner and in various positions in hospitality. My personal passions for dance, yoga, and the human body and how it moves brought me to a career in Massage Therapy. I love laughing and in my free time you will most likely find me playing in some format: out in nature, in a yoga or dance studio, or with my cat.
