CranioSacral 1 CST-1

CranioSacral Therapy 1 (CS1) Few systems have as much impact on the human body as the craniosacral system. It protects and nourishes the brain and spinal cord - and affects nearly every aspect of central nervous system performance. That's why CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is so critical to your healthcare practice. Developed after years of university research and testing, it allows you to release fascial restrictions anywhere on the body that may be impinging the craniosacral system and every other system it interacts with. CST has been shown to: assist in autonomic nervous system regulation and turn down the sympathetic overdrive. help to mobilize the central nervous system and enhance its functioning, and this will have a flow-on effect to all other systems. work with the fascial network of the body, and when this is functioning well the person is able to have a better representation in their somato-sensory cortex. assist at the interface of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, such as at the myodural bridge where tensions through that region can be broadcast up and down the entire dural system. increase ROM (Range of Motion) and strength, improve tolerance for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and facilitate a higher quality of life based on functional assessment tools. -Upledger Institute 24 Hours hands on training -April 14, 2014

I highly recommend her treatments to anyone seeking skilled, professional massage therapy care. Her level of experience and knowledge is evident from the moment treatment begins. She takes the time to truly listen, assess concerns thoroughly, and tailor each session to the client’s specific needs. Her technique is both intuitive and highly effective, combining clinical understanding with a compassionate approach that helps clients feel comfortable and cared for throughout the session. I was especially impressed by her ability to identify problem areas and apply the appropriate treatment techniques with confidence and precision. She is an exceptional therapist whose professionalism, experience, and therapeutic skill clearly stand out in her work.

I have been going to Kristin for a long time and she is amazingly skilled at optimizing the various techniques of massage to help the body realign, lymphatic drainage, energetic healing, targeted release of tight muscles and overall well being. One muscle was so. Ramped in my leg and she put on magnesium cream and it immediately released. Since then I have passed on mag cream to family and friends and it has also alleviated pain and muscle cramping for them. Highly recommend Wicked Good Massage therapy and Kristin!
