Chiropractic Assistant

While in Massage School, I worked as a Chiropractic Assistant. The experience working one on one with a highly skilled body care specialist gave me a wealth of information and experience. He was also trained as a Massage Therapist, so he shared his soft tissue skills with me. This work environment lead me to put my hands on my different injuries and painful situations in a short amount of time.

Medical Massage Therapist

For a period of time, I worked in a friends Medical Massage Clinic, while she recovered from Knee Surgery. I like the experience so much I stayed on as an independant contractor for a few years. She taught me the value of biling insurance and taking soap notes on clients. She shared with me her expertise on running a small private yet professional massage clinic. Spa Therapist - Spa Therapist Trainer

Working 10 years in a spa environment gives one a wild variety of experience with bodies, co workers, professionalism, and treatment varieties. Working in the Spa at the CDA Resort, was a careeer changing experience. I met my best friends, I shared massage with the best bodyworkers in our region, and I was able to share my skills as a trainer. Knowing now how much I love to share my experiences with other therapists, I hope to become a massage educator someday. But for now, sharing with my clients is enough. I enjoyed the fine equipment and products of the spa. The variety of body treatments was a very fun adventure also. Learning about products from around the world, and organic plant based products just adds to the wealth the spa gave to me.
