Kandy is a 2010 graduate of Massage Therapy Training Institute. Kandy has been practicing Basic Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Work, Trigger Point Therapy, Medical, Therapeutic, and Prenatal Massage for the past 8 years. In addition, she teaches Infant Massage Classes to new parents, performs Raindrop Technique and is certified in Acupressure Mastery and Burn Scar Massage. She is currently working on an Energy Practice certification. 

Kandy has also been a registered nurse for the past 28 years. This has included working with a variety of people in Hospice, Home Health, School, Hospital, Nursing Home, Family Practice, and Administrative work in the service oriented industry of healthcare. Kandy has owned and operated her own Massage Therapy practice in Kansas City since August of 2010. She believes strongly in the physical and emotional benefits of massage and that everyone should have an hour of stress relief and relaxation at least once a week. Touch is incredibly beneficial and needed in our touch-deprived and high stresses society. The peace that a massage session brings can help immeasurably in this stressful and busy society we live in. Kandy, a mother of 4 grown children and grandmother to a beautiful little girl, makes her home in Platte City, MO,(soon to be Atchison, KS) with her husband of 35 years.
