International Certification in Aromatherapy

Earned the International Certification in Aromatherapy from Pacific Institute. I am pleased to add this certification to my educational accomplishments as I have been studying herbs and essential oils and using them in my work for many years. I make a wonderful line of aromatherapy massage and body oils which I use in my work and am currently designing a course to teach effective aromatherapy massage.

Medical Massage is a specialty for working with specific conditions to give clients relief from pain and assist in the healing process.

Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage for Wellness from The Swedish Institute

This certification is for TAM - the Alatriste Method - designed and taught by Michael Alatriste who is a pioneer in the field of Manual Lymphatic Drainage - he is truly taking this field of treatment to the next level. I feel fortunate to have studied with Michael and am pleased to offer this skill to my clients. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is light but profound. It assists the body to cleanse and revitalize and is extremely restful.

Therapeutic Massage for the Performance Horse

I created this specialty protocol in 1986, combining my massage education with my equestrian and horsemanship background. I was one of the pioneers in the field of equine massage, following in the footsteps of Sports Massage and Equine Sports Massage pioneer, Jack Meagher.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental New York - Therapist and Treatment Manager

From 2005 to 2009 I served at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental as a massage therapist and as the Treatment Manager. I practiced all massages and treatments offered, supervised the team of 30 therapists, managed product inventory and organized and conducted trainings.
