I am a licensed Massage Therapist, graduated from Mind Body Institute in May of 2019.
I am also a Registered Nurse of 30 years, I currently work in the Emergency Department.
I chose to become a massage therapist for a number of reasons, one is because I love helping folks achieve their wellness goals. Massage therapy is self-care. Self-care is important for your physical and emotional wellness. What better way to relax and reset than to receive a massage? I can't think of anything better!

Another reason for me becoming a massage therapist, is chronic pain. I have seen many people suffer from chronic pain these past 30+ years. Many becoming addicted to opiates, that don't really help the pain at all. Many times pain is eased by activity and massage. It is my goal to help anyone with chronic pain by easing their pain through massage and teaching you things that will help you manage your pain in between massages.

I loved my massage by Bitha! She did such a good job helping me relax the week of my wedding! Which was much needed. It is a space of complete calm.
