Stephanie became a licensed bodywork therapist in 2005. She has a lifelong passion for understanding stress and it’s impact on the physical body, and respects that every client has unique challenges and preferences. Stephanie comes from a background in yoga, mental health coaching, and education. She draws her style of bodywork from these elements, creating a rhythmic blend of modalities with a focus on releasing stagnant patterns and chronic tension that affect posture and range of motion. She incorporates Deep-Tissue, Myofascial Release, Esalen, Swedish, and Thai techniques while intuitively maintaining or adjusting firm, connected pressure. She enjoys working with hip related issues as well as shoulder and neck tension relief. She also enjoys prenatal massage, headache and sinus alleviation, working with the body's meridian or Sen lines, and incorporating hot stones in treatments. Stephanie strives toward creating space for members to embody inward focus while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
