Born and raised near Richmond VA, Michael's love for massage began when his mother introduced nurturing touch at an early age. He often would walk on her back and rubbed sore feet and shoulders in return for the same lovely treatment! At age 16 Michael received his first professional massage and Reiki session. This caused a domino effect, leading Michael into the world of mindfulness and wellness. Things shifted again after taking yoga as a community college course in VA; it beckoned Michael to find his place in the wellness industry.


Michael proceeded to move to Sarasota FL in 2016 where he would attend the famous Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. This training solidified his love for manual therapies and natural medicine. upon graduating massage school, Michael jumped right into becoming a Thai massage therapist, which blends yoga and massage together. His first job as a massage therapist was at Four Pillars in Lakewood Ranch, FL, where his practice really took off as he explored new modalities and consistently worked with his clients. 

Other massage job experience includes Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Appalachian Guild of Healing Arts, Maggie Valley Wellness Center, chair massage events, and many happy house call clients.

Overall, Michael adores this path in his life and is passionate about learning and growing in the field.
