I graduated from the Center for Massage and Natural Healing in 2000. Feeling that I was too young at 19 to start practicing massage, I spent time traveling, and later working in the mental health field. In 2012, I finally got my massage therapy license, and found that it was what I wanted to be doing. Along the way, I received continuing education in Soft Tissue Release, working with emotional trauma using Esalen techniques, Cupping, Reflexology, and advanced Deep Tissue. I am also skilled in hot stones, cupping, prenatal, and aromatherapy. After many years of massaging, I have found the most important thing is listening to what clients say they need, and using my hands to listen deeper to what their bodies are telling me. After working on thousands of people of all ages, sizes, and varying levels of trauma, I have learned that each client needs to be carefully considered as an individual, and adjust my style accordingly. I am honored to do this work and hope to continue for many years to come.

Lovely massage. I needed more deep tissue for my back than this massage and would have spoken up again had the session been longer, but it was a nice relaxing massage at any rate.

Again, Lauren's touch is superb! Just the right amount of pressure, getting into the correct spot in the muscle and around the body to relieve the tension and soothe. I haven't had a masseuse with quite her level of gentleness on the approach, coupled with the proper amount of pressure, for an effective yet enjoyable experience in quite some time. And I've had massage all over the world ... Lauren has a unique touch!! The deep tissue work was a great precursor to the rocks, and it all worked together extremely well for an impressive and enjoyable experience. Though it's nearly a 50 mi ride, one-way, for me from home to Ebb & Flow, it's certainly worth the trip ... I will be back!!

I enjoy Lauren's touch! As a massage practitioner from way back, touch was always a major factor for me in the work. Lauren's approach into the stroke is so smoothe and light, yet it delivers just the right amount of pressure for the experience to be effective and pleasurable at once. A few of the stones were a bit too hot, but still effective. Mostly, I enjoyed the added heat as, often times, I'm not always warm enough throughout a session.
