"Your issues are in your tissues"

Katie believes in co-created treatments that are holistic, inquisitive and highly effective. She takes into account all possible causes of pain INCLUDING, but not limited to - lifestyle, emotional and physical issues to find the ROOT cause of the problem (not always where the pain is showing up) and takes her time to thoroughly address your concerns. Goals for each session are discussed beforehand, and massages are customized to meet the unique needs of each client. Katie is also a professional musician and can provide customized, unique playlists in a variety of musical styles that fit each client's particular taste. Katie specializes in blended deep tissue and myofascial release modalities.

Katie brings to her practice over 4 years of counseling experience in the non-profit world, over 10 years experience as a professional musician, and a Reiki I and II certification. She has been practicing massage since 2016, and has undergone extensive training in Deep Tissue/Myofascial techniques at Austin Deep Tissue Institute. She is interested in exploring the mind-body connection as a way to efficiently heal.
