My career in Natural Health began as a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant in 2002, in a busy office where I watched the connections being made between doctor and patient. My career in Natural Health began as a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant in 2002, in a busy office where I watched the connections being made between doctor and patient. I loved seeing people receive physical touch, have their pain and tension melt away, and look transformed as they exited that building. I craved that connection with the patients too and knew I could never be content staying behind a desk. So I decided to go back to school to study Massage Therapy, in order to make that kind of difference in peoples' lives.
After massage school I began practicing Massage Therapy and Bodywork in Asheville. Although I currently specialize in Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage (AOBT), I also draw from a long list of hands-on modalities. These include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage, Arthrossage, Lomi Lomi, Prenatal, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Sports Therapy, Active/Passive Stretching, Hot Stone Therapy and Ayurvedic Massage. A massage in my office will combine whatever combination of modalities suits your needs and goals.
Whether you're suffering from pain, tension, stress, or just in need of a tune up, Massage Therapy is sure to enhance your quality of life!
