Carlie Love, LMBT, CIMI NC License #4470 Carlie has been a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) in North Carolina since 2003. She is also a member of the Association for Massage and Bodywork Professionals (AMBP). She studied massage therapy and graduated from The North Carolina School of Natural Healing in 2002. Her expertise includes a highly intuitive and integrative approach with specialized training in the following modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Bodywork, Tui Na, Hawaiin Lomi Lomi, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral, Aromatherapy, and Reiki. Any or all of these techniques are applied as appropriate to meet the specific needs of each individual client. Facilitating the natural healing processes of the human body while helping clients deeply relax and unwind is her specialty. As a well educated and experienced practitioner of the healing arts, Carlie brings a great deal of experience, skill, and compassion to the table. Additionally, she considers it a humbling privilege to facilitate deep healing and relief from pain and discomfort. Helping others attain a greater overall sense of health and well being through massage therapy and other forms of self care brings her great joy. Carlie is very enthusiastic about learning and educating others regarding the importance of touch. As such, Carlie became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) through The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) in 2007. Sharing simple massage techniques that can be easily implemented into the flow of every day life is a practice that Carlie sees as a catalyst for deep healing and much needed change for all. She welcomes individuals, couples, parents, foster parents, adoptive parents, premature babies, babies born addicted to substances, families with children who have special needs, pediatric and geriatric specialists, and care givers of all sorts to inquire about upcoming opportunities to attend group classes and/or to schedule private sessions for therapeutic massage treatments and/or education. Infant Massage is good for children 0-101.
