Hiya!  I am a massage therapist in Asheville, NC.  It's a privilege to work with amazing clients who appreciate an individual approach to each massage.  

Having always been a person people came to "to really get the knots out", massage called to me from the corners of my life.  After immersing myself in martial arts and dance, it was easy to see bodywork as a career path and after graduating from Center for Massage and Natural Health in 2002, I have continued on this journey of healing and discovery for myself, friends and family, and my community.  
I have studied Thai Massage extensively since 2007, even traveling to Thailand to study with one of the Great Teachers, Pichest Bonthumme.  This melding of movement, dance, and bodywork brought many areas of my career and hobbies together on the mat.  Whether full sessions of Thai or incorporating this modality into a table massage is one way I integrate this ancient way of healing into my practice.  
 While getting thousands of hours of massage practice with clients, many inexplicable and magical moments happen.  How a shift in the shoulder helps to release years of hip pain or a realization occurs suddenly to the client, or a question arises from me that inspires renewed action from the answerer or I find myself working on an area far from the "complaining muscles" and voila! the irritation has resolved.  These occurrences led me to delve into the study of Energy Healing, and even the skeptic in me is soothed as I continue in this work, both as a receiver and as a provider.  It has introduced a new awareness and depth to my practice that is appreciated by my variety of clients.  
There are many facets to my journey as a healing bodyworker.  Glad to share this journey with you as we care for ourselves in order to better care for those around us.
