Pam is a physical therapist and owner of Changing the Game Physical Therapy, LLC offering a special focus on pregnancy and postpartum women with regards to returning to sport/exercise. Pam has been a physical therapist for 18 years incorporating a multifaceted approach of manual therapy, corrective exercises, trigger point dry needling, and lymphatic drainage cupping. Physical therapy and exercises are not one size fits all. Each patient is so unique and requires a custom treatment program even if they have the same diagnosis. Pam offers a unique type of gentle cupping called lymphatic drainage cupping that helps with detoxification, immune function and circulation to the whole body. This can be a great addition to the rebalancing of hormones that women go through in several stages of their lives or post surgery to help with circulation. Pam is passionate about helping women return to sport or exercise during pregnancy or postpartum or years later after those stages. She finds that bringing awareness to the little things or habits can have a dramatic effect on patients' lives. She also finds that looking at each person as a whole, all the way from their head down to their toes is very instrumental. Pam believes that starting with breathing mechanics or breath work can help set the foundation for success. Pam is incredibly motivated to help women in these stages of their lives because she has been through it herself with one C-section and a VBAC. Pam knows how difficult life can be post each birth as an athlete herself. Mountain biking, skiing, running and playing with her kids are some of Pam’s favorite ways to relieve stress and remain active.
