Hello. Thankyou for checking out my bio! My name is Kenya and I absolutely love what I do. I specialize in relaxation and making you feel your best!
Massage allows me to help make the world a better place, because it frankly helps you, the reader and possibly my future client. I personalize each session to ensure you feel at ease and relaxed helping in your day to day life. I have three years of professional massage experience at a large massage chain. I have helped many people that suffer with injured shoulders, spinal issues, sciatic pain, and plantar fasciitis. As someone who suffers from sciatic pain and has a physical job regular bodywork and yoga are my go-to pain relievers.
I grew up always knowing that I would pursue a career that would help people in their day to day lives. I received my Associates Degree in Psychology from Anne Arundel Community College and went on to Towson University to complete my degree but decided it was not for me.
My husband (who is also a massage therapist) recommended that I check out massage. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is everything I have ever wanted to do which is to, help people.
I studied at Baltimore School of Massage graduating their program the winter of 2017. I went on to receive my license in the spring of 2018 and have been practicing ever since. The thing that I cherish about this profession is the ability to learn and grow as a massage therapist and person. I am highly skilled in Relaxing Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage, as well as Focused Myofascial and Trigger Point Release.
What I strive to achieve in each session is to have you feeling better, brighter, and happier then when you came in. Take Care of yourself.
Thank-you,
Kenya
