Being a healer has always come naturally to me. My mother, being a masseuse and healer herself, inspired me from early on in my life to follow that path, to cultivate and nurture my inclination towards supportive and therapeutic touch. She inspired me in other ways that led me to follow through with my education, moving to California from Tennessee, acquiring a degreee in spanish and international studies at Humboldt State University in May 2013. Only two short months after my graduation, I quickly jumped into the 10 month Cmt program at the Arcata School of Massage. Since then i have been working mostly out of my home, but also out of my car with mobile massage and as a private contractor, renting space out of ASM, where i have been welcomed as a professional and a community member. My triaining at the school was very diverse, and inclusive of a wide breadth of healing modalities, including and not limited to swedish, myofacial release, sports massage, acupressure and neuromuscular techniques. I have developed a method of assesment and intuitive awareness of my clients needs to allow for a treatment that can call upon this variety of techniques to best be of service to them in the moment. With this supportive awareness and gentle, relaxing touch, optimum healing can happen within the body. In particular, the work I do can be either very gentle or quite vigorous, catering to the needs of my client, helping to reduce pain, stress, and misalignment, while increasing mobility and range of motion in joints, balance and length along the body, and overall deep relaxation and comfort. I currently live and work out of my home in Arcata, California in beautiful Humboldt County. With mobile massage I am available within the limits of Eureka, Arcata, Mckinlleyville, and Blue Lake.

Morning Class
I have completed the first 32 hours, foundational visionary craniosacral workshop, offered by the Milne Institute Inc. Three days in March, 2014, in Trinidad, California have allowed me to gently appreciate this gentle, energy rich approach to subtle manipulation of the cranial bones. This profoundly affective method helped me to cultivate a deep interest in the structure of the cranium, and how the whole body has a potential of healing from the top down, allowing for an overall feeling of well being and balance.
