Life is movement. Keep living, keep moving.

I've been practicing massage therapy since 2008. I've worked in a variety of settings including a Sports Medicine chiropractic office, a rehabilitative and performance enhancement office in NYC and an integrative wellness center in Brooklyn, NY. Since moving to the Triangle area in 2015, I've worked in the spa setting at Hand and Stone in Cary, and in a sports massage facility, All Sport Muscle Therapy, where I was introduced to Neuromuscular Reprogramming. I've worked with Olympic athletes, MLB pitchers, NYC marathon since 2009 and am currently a massage therapist for the USTA's tennis players at the US Open since 2015.
I bring a multi-modal approach to my sessions to enhance the quality of movement, whether one is a professional athlete, weekend warrior or one with a 9-5 job. We all have the same muscles and their respective functions and actions.
I include:
Neuromuscular reprogramming--Swedish massage--Myofascial release--Deep tissue--Orthopedic massage based on James Waslaski's work of capsular release (joint release).

I love what I do and have a passion to continue to learn and advance my profession. Through educating my clients on the intricacies of the complex systems of the human body I want to empower people to empower themselves so they can lead functional lives.

Talked through what I came in for. Was very professional and responsive to what was needed. Good communication throughout massage. Came out feeling way better and muscles in much better shape.

Javier has to be the best massage therapist I've ever gone to. He is better than my PT for addressing orthopedic issues I'm having with my shoulder and hip. He is also better at helping fix these issues. His technique is wonderful and the pressure is perfect. I swear it's like he can read my mind! 5 stars isn't high enough for Javier but that's the best I can do.
