In the beginning I was doing this because I was tired of working in corporate America and wanted to be more in control of my life. I had thought about going to school for this several times but was inspired when I really started researching it and learned how much it really could change someone's life. I was amazed that there were so many different types of massage therapy and so many reasons for receiving it other than as a luxurious "treat". I was and still am fascinated with learning about the body and how it works, how it reacts to massage, and how it can heal itself when given the opportunity. 

Becoming a massage therapist has not only given me the ability to take control of my life but has also introduced me to a whole new world of holistic living. I am a stronger, healthier, happier version of myself 6 years ago - I have "reclaimed my body"! I know the transformation is probably never complete, and certainly wont be easy but I know that massage, in any modality will always play a big role in my life. 
My goals with clients are simple. I want to help you feel your best. I want to be able to talk with you about your goals and what you expect to achieve with massage therapy. I want to make a plan, set reasonable expectations, and then implement them. In a nutshell, my goals are your goals! I hope that you will give me the opportunity to work with you in reclaiming your body!
