I began my massage practice in 1983.  As my practice grew, I was repeatedly asked by clients to teach them what I knew.  I then opened a school, Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, in 1993.  I moved the school and my practice from the East side of Ann Arbor to the West side in 2004.  We moved into this big, beautiful building and then the school began to grow too.  We now offer two programs at the school; 1) Therapeutic Massage (800 classroom hours) and 2) Sports Massage Therapist and Per...

I began my massage practice in 1983.  As my practice grew, I was repeatedly asked by clients to teach them what I knew.  I then opened a school, Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, in 1993.  I moved the school and my practice from the East side of Ann Arbor to the West side in 2004.  We moved into this big, beautiful building and then the school began to grow too.  We now offer two programs at the school; 1) Therapeutic Massage (800 classroom hours) and 2) Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer (910 classroom hours).  A few years ago, I wrote the textbook Neuromuscular Therapy Manual, WoltersKluwer, Lippencott Williams & Wilkins.


I still teach within the programs and have a private practice while still being the Director of the school.  I love staying busy!!!  The modalities I most practice are Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage.
