Hello!

My name is Natasha, I'm so grateful you stopped by to read a little about myself.

I'm from a small town called Centerville, IA. I graduated High School from Moravia, IA in 2012. After High School I moved to Des Moines, IA in August of 2012 for Massage Therapy School. I chose to study Massage Therapy at Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School.

I graduated from Body Wisdom in February of 2014 and got my Massage Therapy license in May of 2014. I've been practicing Massage Therapy for 5 years and absolutely love it! It's been my dream to be a Massage Therapist since I was in 8th grade. I believe it when people say if you love what you do it doesn't feel like work, they were right!

I am certified in Sea Shell Massage, Myofascial Release (which is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.), SansHands- Slow Flow Massage (is a form of deep tissue.), Reflexology, and soon to be much more. I provide more of a medium to deep pressure. My goal someday is to be a orthopedic and sports therapist.

Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me tell you a little about myself. I hope to see you very soon!

Myofascial Release

Myofascial is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.

Reflexology

Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medicine involving application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion.

SansHands- Slow Flow Massage

SansHands- Slow Flow Massage allows the practitioner to be right here, right now - tuning in and working 'with' the tissue rather than 'on' the tissue. It's massage with the forearms and elbows that is slow, connected and present; sinking down to the deeper layers.

Sea Shell Massage

Sea Shell Massage is a holistic (whole person) approach to relaxation and mental and physical health. This relaxation approach consists of easing the mind by physically manipulating your muscles. During a warm shell massage, a massage therapist places smooth seashells on your upper back, lower back, legs, arms, and/or neck. Relaxing your deep muscles and providing an overall sense of health and well-being.

She applied firm even pressure. She is friendly and professional. She asked about what areas needed work. Her massage on the base of my head/neck was AMAZING!!!

Natasha is the best massage therapist I've ever been to. She really listens to the body and the muscle and works from there. She is the only therapist who has been able to relax my jaw and neck successfully. I can't recommend her enough

Natasha listens to you to find out which areas need special attention and then she makes sure those areas receive attention. Has a special gift of working out the kinks.
