While at ECU she worked as a teacher’s assistant and tutor for Elmhurst Elementary and an After School Mentor for the ‘Growing up Fit’ program. Once she graduated she decided to incorporate her work with children and her degree by becoming the Assistant Program Director for CHANGE for Children at the Goldsboro YMCA.

While at ECU she realized the importance of massage. In 2008 she was given the opportunity to change her career path. Therefore, she attended Johnston Community College, completing the requirements for the Massage Therapy program. In 2009 she became licensed. Once she was introduced to Deep Tissue and Sports massage she knew she had found her niche.  She is continually learning to ensure that the Weekend Warrior, professional athletes and the everyday clients reap the many benefits that Massage Therapy has to offer.

Desiree was super professional and personable. She came to my home (how awesome!) and had relaxing music playing in the background. I received this massage as a gift from a family member, but will certainly be having her back - it was amazing!
