I love working. Since the moment I could have a job, I jumped right in! I started out in the food industry as most teenagers do. I stayed there for 4 years, working my way to the top. I really enjoyed my job and working with all the different people. Unfortunately, the business got shut down abruptly and I had to find a new passion. That’s when I found retail. I love retail. I mean what girl wouldn’t love to be constantly surrounded by the newest brands and the highest trending designs all of the time? It's something I can do every day and have the confidence that I want with my career. I Guess that's why I chose to stay in that career for 14 years now. But wait...Have you ever woken up one day and said, "Something has to change?" Well that’s what had happened to me. After 14 long years of overworking myself, missing out on Holiday events, missing my children’s sports games, and years of stress caused by long hours and continuous structural changes, I decided it was time to make a change. My best friend introduced me to National Holistic Institute (NHI.edu), a college for Massage Therapy. I was skeptical at first, but the more I researched the more I realized how amazing the work done by Massage therapists is.
