Reiki Master Teacher

I first experienced Reiki in 2006. I took a Reiki 1 & 2 class in 2007 and practiced Reiki regularly. In 2008 I went on to the next training level and became a Master / Teacher. I soon opened the Soulstice Reiki Center in Pueblo, CO and practiced this wonderful healing modality. In October of 2022 I took the training for the Holy Fire lll Karuna Reiki Master Class with William Lee Rand / The International Center for Reiki Training. It was a very profound and powerful experience. It has given me an extra boost with the Reiki energy and provides for powerful Distance Reiki sessions.

Licensed Massage Therapist

I had researched a variety of massage schools several years prior to attending one. I wasn't interested in a "cookie cutter" massage school. From my years in my Reiki practice I had experienced the connection with how the body, soul and mind all work together - like an orchestra - and how they can create a beautiful symphony of healing. I finally found a unique massage school where I learned more than just the mechanics of the body. I learned how powerful the human mind can be. I learned a variety of modalities besides massage: Shiatsu, acupressure, guided imagery with acupressure, Qigong, Kundalini Yoga, essential oils, hot stones & fascilitated stretching. These modalities are all powerful tools on their own - but when they are paired with another modality - a deeper healing happens on many levels. I am still in awe of the entire process and I still strive to continue learning.

Rene has excellent knowledge of the Anatomy. She is able to methodically work your problems areas back to wholeness. Her table side manner is very professional. She is amazing at offering suggestions for stretches etc. to try at home. She always follows up the next day to see how you’re feeling. Do your self a favor and book a massage with Rene, you’ll thank yourself later!

I love coming to Rene and getting body work done!! She is an incredible listener and creates time and space to talk about what’s been going on with my body. She is specific when it comes to points of pain and concentrates on them in order to relieve tension. I’ve learned so much about where I hold tension in my body and she also checks in on me the day after to see how I am doing. You can tell she really cares about your recovery and sends me videos on ways to allow my body to heal. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and I’m so lucky to have found her here in Haines, Alaska!
