My entire life I've pursued making a difference in the lives of others and creating the kind of world we want to leave to future generations. I was introduced to Rolfing as I was completing my degree in Theatre Arts in my 20's. I was so transformed by the results that I went back to school and turned toward Rolfing as my work. I was initially trained at the Rolf Institute by Dr. Ida Rolf's earliest teachers, and had the opportunity to spend time with Dr. Rolf herself. I began my practice in 1977, received my advanced training in 1982, and pursued an active practice in Wisconsin until I moved to the Happy Valley in 1995.  I've always been drawn to creating lasting systemic change, whether in people's body structures and lives, organizations and communities, or the world. I'm called at this time to return to my roots in Rolfing, creating the kind of safe space and results approach my work has always been known for. Whether trying to alleviate aches and pains, improve performance, heal old physical or psychic traumas, or just stand a little straighter and taller, my work is focused on the unique needs of each of my clients. I'm available here Mondays and Thursdays at Amherst Healing Arts, and limited hours at my home in Wendell.  I am the proud father of 5, grandfather of 4, an avid maple syrup maker and sometime songwriter and guitar player. My spiritual roots are in Renewal Judaism, but my branches spread far and wide across many paths. I look forward to our time together!
