I'd dreamed of working in the medical/helping field since I was a child and saw the comfort touch brought to those who were in pain or dying in our family. My mother had used massage to help me go to sleep as a child, and my aunt used it to calm my son, whose un-diagnosed  headache pain was almost unbearable until the problem was diagnosed and surgically repaired.
