Skylar is a licensed Cosmetologist and Licensed Massage therapist who resides in Alvin, Texas with her husband, John, and their corgi, Macy, and their cat, Poe. She grew up in and around the theatre, spending lots of time both backstage and onstage in various productions- where she discovered the joys of makeup and hair. In 2011, she received her cosmetology license and began practicing esthetics (waxing, facials etc.) and nails (gel nails, nail art,) at Chocolat Day Spa in Manvel, Texas. Since everyone knows that the massage is the best part of the facial, it was only natural for her to soon desire to go back to school- only this time for a massage license. She graduated from The Texas School of Massage in April of 2012. So far, she has really loved being dual-licensed for the variety it offers her scope of practice. Her work specially deals with helping clients with pain management and the prevention of headaches, migraines, and preventing and rehabilitating work/sports related injuries. In addition to esthetics and massage, Skylar also loves reading, baking things from scratch, crafting, scrapbooking and journaling, anything Disney, laying out by the pool, and she is an avid corgi fancier.
