Here's my story....
I graduated with my Bachelors in Science from Central Michigan University in 2012 thinking of going on for my masters degree in occupational therapy. As I continued to job shadow in that field, I realized it wasn't what I was expecting. I wanted to be in a profession that would allow me more time with clients while creating a quicker positive outcome. Here is where massage came in. I always had interest in massage, but thought it would just be a side thing I would practice down the road for fun. I decided to go right into it after graduation, finding Everest Institute in 2012. I loved their curriculum and teachers and graduated with my massage degree in 2013. There's been no looking back. Therapeutic massage has become my passion and I'm so grateful I get to do it for a living. Massage sessions, lasting 30-120 minutes, allow me time to evaluate and impact muscle tissue which results in clients experiencing less pain. They are able to function at a higher level in their everyday lives.
If you live with everyday aches and pains, you may not have too. I'd love to figure out what is causing your pain and work with you to live a healthier life.
