Hi there! My name is Erika, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, artist, former aircraft mechanic, mom of 5, owner of Bohemian Bodyworks and co-founder of The Femquarters. My practice is built on the idea of 'following your happiness compass', doing that which makes you happy with a purpose. I am passionate about structural massage therapy, Pilates, art, and body positivity!

I graduated from The Arizona School of Massage Therapy in August 2012, worked steadily as a Massage Therapist until March 2014 when I joined the Air Force Reserves. Moved to Oscoda, MI in 2015 to work as a sheet metal mechanic. Re-ignited my passion for structurally- integrated bodywork following an unhealthy pregnancy in 2017. While looking to correct my own posture and body mechanics, I incorporated massage therapy with Pilates, weight-training, and flexibility training. While studying to become a Pilates Instructor, I partnered with my friend to open up The Femquarters, our studio dedicated to photography, art, and massage therapy. I hope to be adding Pilates classes to my services late 2021.

Don't be put off by the place, she's getting set up. She is professional and highly skilled. She has done the right thing by making the massage room comfortable and relaxing. A truly professional massage is what my body needed after almost three years since I arrived in March 2020 to this area after the COVID outbreak in San Francisco. Deep tissue work released some major pains in my body. Erika requests body/accident details prior to her working on you which is thorough enough for Erika to dig into your true body needs.
