Laura is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) through NCBTMB.  She graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Northern Virginia Community College.  She has mastered NMT/Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Post-Event Sports Massage.   Being an former distance runner, Laura has focused on fellow runners during her training and case studies.

Laura's goal is to work with athletes of all abilities to help them perform their best, remain injury free, and recover from events and injuries.  Being in the hectic DC area, she  understands the value of a good massage for relaxation and de-stressing, too!

In addition to massage, Laura is a Reiki Master,  RYT200 Yoga Instructor and Zumba Instructor.  She teaches fitness classes at at the Fairfax County Rec Centers.  She volunteers with MVLE and Comfort for America's Uniformed Services (Cause).  Her hobbies include travel, cooking, hiking, running/walking and biking.

The massage itself was amazing. Laura did a phenomenal job working on all of my right places. It's not her fault; there wasn't much thought put into the facility itself, but the slamming of the door to the rec center was jarring and I wish that the door to the treatment room didn't open directly to the main hallway.

Laura did an amazing job! There was outside noise from fellow gym members but the massage was amazing and gave me more range of motion afterwards.
