Therapeutic Body Treatments has been my passion for several years. I enjoy helping people feel better whether it is by providing a therapeutic treatment to relieve muscle pain, stress or relaxation. My treatments are tailored to my client's preferences. I might make suggestions, but ultimately, each treatment is individualized. Treatments include essential oils and a hot pack. I may include cupping, tuning forks, etc. as needed. I offer accompanying stretches/recommendations afterward to support the work done during the treatment.
By attending regular continuing education courses, I incorporate different modalities during the massage. Sometimes I am surprised by what the body responds to! In addition to traditional Swedish massage, I do myofascial/trigger point, cranial sacral/Core Synchronism, neural reset therapy, basic oncology, neck/auto accident therapy, cupping, hot stones, reflexology.
In addition to bodywork, I also offer colon hydrotherapy. Many find this therapy to increase energy, clear the mind and create a new space for the body to release toxins.
Background:
I attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics where I received certification as a Natural Therapeutic Specialist (NTS). In addition to basic massage, I was trained in Chinese Medicine, Polarity, herbs, flower essences, raw food, essential oils, and other natural remedies.
Continuing Education: Upledger's Cranial Sacral techniques, Core Synchronism Certification, Myofascial classes, deep tissue classes, neck assessment and release, and basic Oncology Massage.

Natural Therapeutic Specialist
BS
Took two versions of CST 1- one with Upledger and another with D. Cornwell at NMSNT. Plan to continue towards certification.
Down to the Bone: Deep tissue class, 12 hours, focusing on deep tissue work without causing pain. AMTA- 2014
Completed coursework in 2013, with over 150 client treatments through October, 2014. Clients generally feel an improvement in energy, more consistent bowel movements, etc.
Coursework through the Perrigrine Institute. Basic oncology massage for people who are in varying stages of oncology treatment. This course did not cover manual lymphatic drainage, but techniques allow for a relaxing treatment.
Completed 126 hours in November, 2013, which was spread over 6 weeks. Core Synchronism combines Cranial Sacral and Polarity Concepts. Ideal for those trying to integrate physical and etheric properties. While gentle and restful, is powerful in its ability to bring "all pieces together". Lower Body neural reset to release pain patterns and establish new patterns of movement.
UNM- Coursework integrated with physicians, chiropractors, and PT's - both didactic and hands on work to further develop our myofascial release skills.
