Notable Experiences

Craniosacral Therapy
Took two versions of CST 1- one with Upledger and another with D. Cornwell at NMSNT. Plan to continue towards certification.
Deep Tissue
Down to the Bone: Deep tissue class, 12 hours, focusing on deep tissue work without causing pain. AMTA- 2014
Colon Hydrotherapy
Completed coursework in 2013, with over 150 client treatments through October, 2014. Clients generally feel an improvement in energy, more consistent bowel movements, etc.
Massage for People Living with Cancer
Coursework through the Perrigrine Institute. Basic oncology massage for people who are in varying stages of oncology treatment. This course did not cover manual lymphatic drainage, but techniques allow for a relaxing treatment.
Core Synchronism Certification
Completed 126 hours in November, 2013, which was spread over 6 weeks. Core Synchronism combines Cranial Sacral and Polarity Concepts. Ideal for those trying to integrate physical and etheric properties. While gentle and restful, is powerful in its ability to bring "all pieces together". Please see website for further explanation.
Fundamentals of Myofascial Treatment
UNM sponsored course integrating different practitioners within the same course. Presented primarily by Ben Daitz, MD, from John Hopkins with presentations from local physicians, chiropractors and LMT's. Working in integrated teams, we had quality hands on experience working with fascia and myofascial releases.
Myofascial Release - neck
Missing link to Healing Chronic Neck Pain- 2014 course focusing on assessment and treatment of neck pain.
Neural Rest Therapy- NRT
Lower Body neural reset to release pain patterns and establish new patterns of movement.
Advanced Myofascial
UNM- Coursework integrated with physicians, chiropractors, and PT's - both didactic and hands on work to further develop our myofascial release skills.
