Ever since I can remember, I've been drawn to helping people. From an early age, people always told me I was a 'good listener.' As a massage therapist, the most important thing you can do is to 'listen' on a deep level. In 2003, I graduated from The Swedish Institute, received my massage therapy license from New York State and have never looked back! 

The last sixteen years has been a gratifying journey and honor to facilitate healing and watch transformation in my clients. Over these years, I have worked in a medical massage practice, chiropractor's office, sports rehab centers, a prenatal massage therapy clinic and my private practice.

I moved across the country in 2008 and found my true home in California. I love exploring our beautiful Bay Area with my husband and boys, while focusing on my private practice on the quiet, West End of Alameda.

I have additional certifications in perinatal and geriatric massage and a special love for these two modalities. (During prenatal massage, I use the Body Cushions system, which allows you to lay comfortably and safely on your belly, even during late pregnancy.)

I look forward to continue serving my community and to be open to the next steps of educational growth, collaboration and connection!

Amy is wonderful, very professional and adaptive to your needs. Her space is calm, soothing and private. Not only is the space amazing but she has the maternaty adjustable pillows to allow for a face down massage while pregnant! Overall the experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

I was so happy to have had an Amy session. She is the best massage therapist I have experienced in a long time. I left feeling refreshed and pain free and it extended into today. I have already put the word out about Amy!!! I And a dear friend already booked a session. I too am booking another massage with her in the next few weeks. A 10 +++!

Amy was recommended by a family friend and I’m so grateful for her to have shared with me because my prenatal massage experience with Amy was 10/10! Everything was easy: booking the appointment, instructions on finding the house, paying etc. I live in Daly City and it was worth the drive across the bridge! I came in for a prenatal massage and Amy was very patient and helpful with explaining the process and the set up of the table. The set up allowed me to be laying face down which was such a treat because being 37 weeks at the time, it took lots of strain on my back. I had to adjust a couple times to finally get comfy and Amy helped every step of the way. I wish I went to her sooner and earlier in my pregnancy and I’m already looking forward to going back postpartum.
