What we think, we become.

I was a stay at home mom and working out with a personal trainer in 2002 and in 2004, I became a Licensed Personal Trainer myself. I discovered I enjoyed working with clients to help them rehab after knee and hip replacements. This was the beginning of my journey to alternative health and would eventually lead me to Massage Therapy.

When my step mother died of cancer in 2005, I became interested in nutritional healing. I started seeing a chiropractor who specialized in Applied Kinesiology.  His care for me and my family changed my outlook on traditional medicine. After I suffered  a head injury in 2007 that left me with vertigo and short term memory loss, his drug free treatment with adjustments and muscle testing literally changed my life when all traditional medical treatments failed!

Then my path got a little bumpy, but I recovered with Yoga. After divorcing Satan (FYI: not the father of my children, and not his real name), I went to Yoga Teacher Training  at Asheville Yoga Center in NC and healed happily in my 3 week “yoga bubble.” It was a submersion in yoga, meditation and breath work that opened my mind and my heart to a whole new approach to life! I am deeply moved by a quote from Buddha, “What we think, we become”. My new direction of self-care and self-love inspired me to share my gift of mindfulness and healing with others.

I began with studying Naturopathy and Nutritional Healing. It is my belief that health is determined by how we take care of our bodies, the food we eat and the lifestyle we live. It was years of experiences with people and practices that made a profound difference in my quality of life and well being that lead me to Massage Therapy.  It created a desire in me to share my “healing touch” in a mindful way.

In 2020, I joined Massage-Ology to train and work with Uma Seaman in Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage and several other Eastern modalities. In Michael Angelou’s last words “Ancaro Imparo” - “And still I am learning “

Terri was very nice and personable. She asked if I wanted her to focus on the areas that were bothering me. I am very happy with the massage. She was able to give me a full massage after focusing on my neck and back. I am grateful and will recommend her.

Terri is attentive and talented. She listened to my “maladies” and addressed each one during the course of the massage. Her use of hot stones was an unexpected bonus!

I came in with neck pain and a headache and left pain free and happy. Terri’s skilled hands and knowledge of the muscles are impressive. I will be back!

I broke my left arm on November 27th, 2020. My entire left side, especially my left shoulder and back have been very sore and hurting for 12 weeks straight. Of course, I’ve been going to my doctors appointments, taking meds, getting x-rays and doing Physical Therapy to regain use of my left arm and my range of motion. But the soreness and hurting has not left for 12 weeks. I went to Terri on Friday 2-19-21, and when she finished I felt like a different person. For the first time in 12 weeks my left shoulder and back did NOT hurt. I wondered how long this good feeling would last?? Well, I’m writing this on Saturday 2-20-21, and Praise God my left shoulder and back are still pain free. I just can’t thank Terri enough for getting my left shoulder and back free from 12 weeks of pain and soreness. Praise God and Terri for being able to relieve my pain and help me to feel so much better!! Terri was truly a God send to me
