Massage can do more than just relax the body. As a neuromuscular therapist, my goal is to help my clients move freely without pain by treating current symptoms and preventing future ones. And with more than twice the required training to certify in California, my practice is informed by an advanced education in anatomy, physiology and pathologies, allowing me to work with you more accurately than the typical intuitive healing approach.
My approach reconnects the brain (neuro) to the body (muscular) through a combination of trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, deep tissue, and calming Swedish strokes in order to lengthen and open deep muscular holding patterns and fascial tension.
I work with a wide variety of symptoms and conditions to help my clients achieve pain-free performance goals. Some of these conditions include: TMJ dysfunction, headaches and migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, SI joint dysfunction, and acute or chronic injury recovery.
I collaborate with your care team (physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, dentists) to make sure you are being taken care of as well as possible.
Sessions include postural assessment, reassessment, and health education.
