Jill Winfield B.S. LMT specializes in Myofascial Release (MFR) and Ashiatsu (massage with the practitioners feet) and Ashi Thai (stretching on a massage table, using the ashi bars, with thai massage based techniques) modalities for lasting effective results. They got their Bachelors Degree at Western Michigan University in 2016; Graduated from the Institute for Massage Education (formerly known as the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts) in July 2019; Licensed in Nov 2019; Certified as a Ashiatsu DeepFeet Therapist in May 2021, learned DeepFeet Ashi Thai in May 2022. Jill was on an Olympic Weightlifting team and competed at local level meets. They have also been a US Masters Swimming member. Other sports Jill has trained in/played include Karate, Tai Chi, Colorguard, Soccer, and Quidditch.
Continuing Education includes: MFR for low-back pain, Hot Stones, DeepFeet Ashiatsu, DeepFeet Ashi Thai, Prenatal, Fibromyalgia, Infants, Pediatrics, Myofascial Techniques: Working with Whiplash, Cancer and the Human Connection: The Value of Oncology Massage.

Mask Policy: Unvaccinated clients are asked to remain masked even with state changes to regulations while in session. Jill, although fully vaccinated, has asthma and fibromyalgia (does NOT want to get sick covid or non-covid). If you need a referral to another therapist they are happy to do so! Jill will likely opt to wear a mask in the therapy room during the session for the foreseeable future.
