Very often people look at massage as "a treat", I say no to that idea. Bodywork is an essential part of maintaining a state of well-being in the Body, Mind, and Spirit. In this day and age of high stress on a daily basis, bodywork is as essential to your health as an oil change is to the maintenance of your car. I have been a massage therapist since 2005 and a Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master since 2018. It is my passion to bring health and wellness to people by empowering them to be active participants in their own healing process.
I recently became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. I am qualified to treat all forms of lymphedema. This is a much needed service for the complete health of your body. This is as important for Cancer patients as it is for your average person. Secondary Lymphedema is the most common cause of disease and affects approximately 1 in 1000 people in America. It can be present in the body long before it is noticeable and if treated in the early stage it can be reversed. Once lymphedema reaches stage 2 it is something that must be treated for life to maintain healthy tissue. I would love to help you help yourself and get ahead of this condition while it is still reversible. I can also help you maintain your health through education, drainage and compression when it is appropriate.
Of course, I also provide Swedish massage for stress reduction, detox of the tissues, and good circulation. This is the foundation of my work. I couple this with deep structural work, trigger point release, and all the Holy Fire Reiki energy your system wants.
