At Yemaya Massage and Wellness Center we pride ourselves on being Rockland county's premier therapeutic massage therapy practice. Established in 2003 we began by providing strictly massage therapy services. In 2006 we moved to our current New City office located at 345 North Main Street in Rockland County, New York. Since then we have added Craniosacral therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki and Certified Reflexology to our menu. We also launched our corporate chair massage services in 2009.
Our vision is to enhance relaxation and support each individual's healing process. With our vast knowledge base of many massage modalities,
as well as many years of hands-on experience, we are able to assess
each client as an individual and create a unique treatment plan to
address each client's specific needs. You will leave Yemaya Massage and
Wellness Center feeling restored, relaxed and renewed - ready to take on
the rest of your day. THERE IS NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED! YOU GET THE FULL SESSIONS HAND ON TIME i.e. 60 minute massage is 60 minutes in total. WE DO NOT UPCHARGE FOR DIFFERENT PRESSURE GRADIENTS i.e Swedish massage is same price as deep tissue massage.
The Owner
Heather Koubek-Jameson
graduated from Healing Hands Institute of Massage Therapy in January
2002 and has been practicing massage therapy full time in NY and NJ
since then. She is licensed in massage therapy (LMT) in NY. Prior to
obtaining her degree in massage therapy, Heather was working as a
licensed social worker (LMSW) for 8 years in various medical settings
throughout the 5 boroughs. Incorporating her experience as a social
worker has only enhanced her role as massage therapist as she is able to
see and address the relationship between a clients emotional and
physical issues. Her specialty is in more therapeutic traditional
massage modalities, and gentler CranioSacral therapy, providing relief
for both chronic and acute emotional and physical issues. She has
expertise and extensive training in CranioSacral Therapy, which is her
passion. She has been practicing this for 10 years, working with clients
who feel stuck emotionally or physically. Working at the client's
comfort level, this modality gently addresses deeper restrictions in the
body caused by physical or emotional trauma.

Yemaya Massage & Wellness Center is proud to staff only NYS Licensed Massage Therapists.
As governed by the NYS Education Department, Office of the Professions, this means they have completed over 1000 hours of massage education and have passed the NYS licensing exam. All of our staff are professional, reliable and caring LMT’s who take pride in their work. Our staff has significant hands on experience, and utilize a vast knowledge base of techniques. Each staff member continues to expand their knowledge base by attending CEU classes on a yearly basis. All of this ensures that you are getting the most appropriate, therapeutic massage based upon your specific needs.
