I came to massage through my career as a Nursing assistant in the Denver and Colorado Springs area. Looking to challenge myself, I enrolled in nursing school and was almost finished when I became mysteriously ill and had to take a break. Doctors finally realized it was scar tissue build up and therefore I had major abdominal surgery.
After recovery, I decided to continue with my education and take my love of helping people in a new direction. I enrolled in the Denver School of Massage and fell in love with bodywork as a means of healing. My husband,Derek,and I and two cats (Sabriel and Waikiki) decided to get away from the hectic pace of city life and start a new life in beautiful Salida.
I have built a loyal following by combining my nursing school training and years as a Certified Nursing Assistant with my massage practice to better identify my client’s needs and help them heal. I specialize in a wide variety of bodywork including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal Massage, and Cupping.
