Sun and Sea Therapeutics is currently offering in-home massage sessions for established or referred clients, along with massage pop-ups throughout the Fremont neighborhood and Bellevue. Jane holds a massage therapy license from NW Academy of Healing Arts and a bachelors of science degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University with a minor in Somatic Psychology. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University to dive deeper into the mind-body connection of her clients. She offers therapeutic massage for stubborn areas of pain and tension, or injury recovery. As well as nervous system centered sessions like Craniosacral Therapy and Embodied Recovery.
The general intake form includes an optional trauma-informed approach called the Comfort & Choice Protocol for clients who would like additional support in creating a sense of safety and ease during their session. This option includes more than three check-ins throughout the massage, a conversation about draping and coverage preferences before beginning, and time to discuss what the session may look and feel like for you. The Comfort & Choice Protocol can be a supportive way to ease into bodywork for those with body sensitivity, higher pain levels, a sensitive nervous system, and/or a history of trauma. Jane brings a trauma-informed lens to all of her work and will thoughtfully adapt each session to the client’s individual needs, whether or not the Comfort & Choice Protocol is selected.
