"No athlete is truly tested until they’ve stared an injury in the face and came out on the other side stronger than ever" - Anonymous

I am a dedicated and experienced athletic trainer with a passion for optimizing injury and illness care, as well as enhancing athlete performance. Specializing in manual therapy, my career has spanned a range of roles in professional hockey, including with the Milwaukee Admirals, Savannah Ghost Pirates, and Norfolk Admirals. Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise in injury assessment, rehabilitation, and treatment, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure athletes receive the highest level of care.

I believe the foundation of effective care lies in truly listening to the athlete, but the most powerful tool I possess is my hands. The body never lies—it communicates its needs through tissue responses, and it’s my job to interpret and treat those signals for lasting results. While manual therapy is crucial, movement is the ultimate medicine. The most effective approach blends the precision of manual therapy with the power of purposeful movement, helping athletes recover faster, perform at their peak, and prevent future injuries.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with elite-level athletes and managing their medical care. I have a unique ability to integrate advanced therapeutic techniques into effective treatment plans while maintaining open communication with athletes, coaches, management, and other medical providers.

I have also held leadership roles, including serving as the Athletic Training Program Director with Optim Orthopedics, where I managed operations across multiple professional sports teams, including hockey, baseball, and soccer. I was responsible for developing and implementing medical procedures, emergency action plans, and injury prevention programs to ensure the well-being of athletes.

Committed to continuous learning, I hold several certifications, including Board Certification in Athletic Training and Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am also a certified sports manual therapist and hold additional certifications in Dry Needling, IASTM, Cupping Therapy, and Myokinematic Restoration. My passion for sports medicine is reflected in my contributions to clinical research, podcast discussions, and my role as a team member at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Track & Field.

When I’m not working on the sidelines or in the training room, I’m exploring new ways to enhance athlete care and performance through research, continuing education, and collaboration with fellow professionals. My goal is always to deliver comprehensive, individualized care that helps elite athletes reach their full potential while ensuring their long-term health and safety.
