Yvonne graduated from the Rising Spirit Institute in 2006. She has worked steadily as a Massage Therapist since then and continues to be dedicated to the work of helping others feel better. She is skilled in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) and specializes in Chronic Pain Management for those suffering with fibromyalgia and recurring back, neck and shoulder pain.
Yvonne has also added as Low Impact Massage is very effective in gently relieving pain in the elderly or ill. Low Impact Massage is based on several key concepts that inform the practice: slow rhythm, comforting intention, respectful attitude, and techniques directed into the central axis with broad even pressure and encompassing touch.
Each massage is customized to meet the needs of the individual client. Yvonne credits her mother for showing her the benefits of massage at an early age along with a desire to help others.
