Vibrant Health Through Myofascial Release

Welcome! Thanks for visiting.

Resonance Bodywork is dedicated to helping you improve your function, vitality, and overall well-being. Whether you're dealing with a new injury, persistent pain, or a long-term issue, we can help you find relief and restore your body's natural balance using myofascial release (MFR) therapy. If you feel pretty great and are interested in discovering how MFR can support your vibrant, radiant health, we're here for that partnership too. Myofascial release is for everyone in all states of health and well-being. #allbodies are welcome

The John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach® (MFR) is a gentle yet highly effective treatment for people of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. This approach involves applying sustained, appropriate pressure to release restrictions in the body's fascial system. Since fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue that runs throughout the entire body surrounding every muscle, nerve, blood vessel, organ and cell, this technique can have a positive benefit for your whole mindbody. The John F. Barnes' approach is truly holistic, working with your body's innate wisdom to create lasting change and restore a sense of ease. At Resonance Bodywork, we see you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms.

What can myofascial release therapy help?
Anyone with a body, essentially. If you have fascia (and if you're reading this, you do), MFR can help it return to and maintain a hydrated, unrestricted state of ease and function. Here is a partial list of conditions myofascial release can treat:

  • neck pain
  • scoliosis
  • sciatica
  • pelvic pain and dysfunction
  • pregnancy, postpartum support
