Productive Relaxation Massage

Please read below for new Year updates

Due to my limited availability and increased frequency of missed appointments I must begin to charge for late cancellations and no show appointments. In order to do this, I must change my current payment processing software. This will require a card on file for each client, even if you pay cash at the time of your appointment. For those of you that book and pre-pay online there may be a $45 deposit required - this will go towards your visit.

Beginning January 1st I will be adjusting my prices slightly. There will no longer be a first time client discount and the pricing for all visits will have taxes included. For example right now my fee is $80/hr but once taxes are included the total is $86.70. Starting on the 1st of the year the total will be $90/hr.

Finally, I have a new phone number that you can call or text if necessary. Please remove the previous text only line and replace it with 612-592-2410.

Thank you all so much for trusting me to be your massage therapist. I am so grateful to you all and the response here in Hugo has been incredible. I look forward to continuing to work with you. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Located in the Hugo Chiropractic Clinic on the corner of Hwy 61 and 147th in Hugo, across the street from O'Reilly's and Subway.

I received my original certification from Aveda back in 2009 and decided to receive more in depth and clinical training through Northwestern Health Sciences where I received my associates of applied science degree in Massage in 2018. Although my session can and often is heavy handed (depending on client preference), I do not subscribe to the "no pain, no gain" mentality. When your body is in pain from an outside mechanism it "fights back" - like when you place your hand on a hot surface, most people instinctively pull back. In my experience, something similar can happen during massage. When your body tenses it makes it more difficult to access areas of potential concern, making in my opinion, the massage less effective. My intention during the massage session is to gently access the deeper tissues in a way that helps the body and mind relax while being productive to address each client's specific concerns. With having my fundamental education through both the Aveda Institute and Northwestern Health Sciences University, I believe my session is unique in that although clinical work is being done, it is relaxing.
