PowaZ Performance Therapy provides assessment-driven, performance-focused massage therapy for athletes, martial artists, active adults, and individuals seeking to improve recovery, mobility, and physical performance.
Founded by Yao Zheng, Florida Licensed Massage Therapist and Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer, PowaZ combines extensive education in kinesiology, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and sports performance with individualized massage therapy.
Each massage session begins with a massage therapy assessment that may include discussion of your activity demands, areas of muscular tension, posture, range of motion, and general movement observations. These findings are used to help determine the appropriate focus and course of your massage therapy session.
Treatment may incorporate techniques such as:
- Neuromuscular and therapeutic massage techniques to address areas of muscular and soft-tissue tension
- Thai Massage techniques to support comfortable mobility and range of motion
- Myofascial decompression and cupping techniques to support soft-tissue mobility
- Myofascial, trigger-point, and other manual soft-tissue techniques selected according to your individual needs
- Mobility and self-care education to help you maintain the benefits of your massage between sessions

My background in athletic training, kinesiology, and strength and conditioning informs how I understand movement and physical demands; however, services provided as massage therapy are performed within the scope of Florida massage therapy practice.
