Before becoming a massage therapist, I had developed carpel tunnel. At my first ever massage, the therapist "fixed" my problem; I knew right then that massage was a very powerful tool. My business started out in a chiropractor's office, moved to a salon, then into a metaphysical gift shop and finally had my arm twisted to join forces with a family member. It has been a good decision to open our join venture. My practice has evolved from strictly relaxation to a majority of medical style massage focused on low back pain management. Neck and shoulder issues come in a close second. It's very rewarding to watch people come in with issues and leave having achieved homeostasis. Why continue to suffer?
